Steven Naismith worth £8m?
Joining Norwich for £8m

Crazy price IMO, decent player but 29 years old and only £4m less than Payet.

More fool Norwich.

Everton always seem to make a profit on their players well aside from that Russian disaster Bilyaletdinov or whatever the hell he was called

If he stays fit he will keep Norwich up IMO.So ,oney well sprnt.I would rather him than Valencia he wont wimp out of games.

Re: Steven Naismith worth £8m?
It's probably more Kone that has been keeping him out. And the development of Barkley.
Hopefully now Everton pick up some injuries

Re: Steven Naismith worth £8m?
Solid experienced Premier league player which I guess is what Norwich feel they need.
Overpriced but I guess with Villa and Sunderland being so shit they think they just need to avoid one more relegation spot.
£8m will be cheap if they do that.

Re: Steven Naismith worth £8m?
Decent striker who can't get in the Everton side because of Lukaku. Hope they sell him and then Lukaku gets injured -- fucking hate Everton.

Good news this because if Naismith can command a £8M price then Carroll would certainly cost more.

Very ordinary player

18 goals in 103 Prem games and is going for £8m? That is a tad toppy, I am pleased we are no longer linked with these type of signings

Re: Steven Naismith worth £8m?
Seems overpriced for his age, but this is another good example of why the league is getting tighter now, little old Norwich have just dropped 10 mil on 2 players.

Nothing apart from price comparisons especially as Norwich are the buying club

What's this got to do with BFS?

We should be all over Miralles still

Re: Steven Naismith worth £8m?
Very much doubt Mirallas goes anywhere IF Everton get bought out. Cracking player.

Re: Steven Naismith worth £8m?
Lower tier Prem striker...1 goal in 5 average at Everton...

If he gets a few key goals fo Norwich to keep them up it would be worth it...

On his Prem stats he will be lucky to get 5 goals for them...but if they are key winning goals...OK...

You don't get much these days in inflated Prem revenues...

A few years ago...would go for 2 to

4million...

2 posts in and Sam has been brought into it.

Decent player but an even better one if they don't manage to stay up. 8 million is a lot much with him being British, being the Jan Window and them being in trouble they don't have much to bargain with.

Re: Steven Naismith worth £8m?
All domestic prices are pretty inflated as the to money has gone up so much - clubs generally don't need to sell unless to make room for some wages for FFP

Is he worth £8m? No. Will he be worth ten times that to Norwich if he helps keep them up? Absolutely.

Would still like to see us go in for a cheeky mirrallas bid

Turn it on when he wants? He's just not very good

Nicey 12:59 Wed Dec 30
Re: Steven Naismith worth £8m?
He is a MOTD highlight hero , can turn it on when he wants but evertonians will tell you he is in and out of the side for a reason.

He will bag a few goals for Norwich and as happy says, if he keeps them up then it's good business. I would be underwhelmed though and believe there is better value elsewhere.

BFS paid £10m for Jarvis and they are getting Jarvis and Naismith for £10.5m. So long as curies get paid though.

Re: Steven Naismith worth £8m?
If true, a brilliant signing for them. Will keep them up and that's a bargain.
